Humberto Brito

Humberto Brito (Setúbal, Portugal, 1980) is assistant professor in the Portuguese Studies Department of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and a member of the Nova Institute of Philosophy. He obtained a PhD in Literary Theory from the University of Lisbon (2007), and he studied Photography at Atelier de Lisboa. Avaria (2019) is his first book. His research focuses philosophical questions which arise in the study of literature and photography.
